Looking for breathwork in Amsterdam? I no longer offer separate breath sessions, but breath is one of the ways in during my sessions of body-oriented attachment therapy.
You can start with a body reading, where we also look at your breath.
What is connected breathing?
Breathwork comes in different forms. I learned connected breathing: you join the in-breath and the out-breath without a pause in between. This creates a flow of breath that helps you feel, and let go of, tension and old patterns held in your body.
That makes room for more relaxation and awareness. I trained as a breath coach at the Holos Academie.
Breath in my sessions
In a session I work with conversation, breath, touch, movement, voice expression and instruments. I bring my experience in breathwork into that.
When we work with the breath, I guide you with words, and with touch where I see tension held. This can help it let go, and give you more space in your body.
The way you breathe is the way you live your life.
What breathwork means to me
Breathwork brings me closer to myself. It helps me be in the moment, feel what is there, and listen to what my body tells me.
Where you hold your breath, you don't want to feel (yet). When you allow the feeling, with the breath, everything becomes freer. Through connected breathing I've experienced how freeing it is when old tension is allowed to soften.

How to start
Curious what breathwork could mean for you? You're very welcome. You can start with a body reading, a shorter first meeting. After that you continue session by session.
From earlier breath sessions
“Inge's guidance was very pleasant, warm and understanding. She listened to me and was with me with calm, warmth, empathy and ease (not too serious). I wouldn't dare to surrender like that and let everything go with just any coach. I realised I can't relax enough because I always want to be on standby. Then I experienced deep rest, and heavy emotions became lighter.”
“Inge is very empathetic. I think she has a strong intuitive power that lets her mean a great deal to others through this work. I can sometimes feel very unsafe in situations like this, but Inge reassured me so easily, and thanks to her I could surrender to the process. What I also find really special is how, afterwards, Inge gave an analysis of my breathing that was spot on in many ways. Really impressive! From my breathing she said things about me that are absolutely themes in my life.”
